Parent Orientation

College is an emotional and financial investment for the whole family. That's why Detroit Mercy offers an orientation just for parents of new students. Our half-day, in-person program will provide information to assist with your transition to becoming a college parent, equip you with the resources necessary to help your student achieve success and introduce you to faculty, advisors, staff and support personnel. Plus, you will have the opportunity to meet other parents.

Parent Orientation will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. on the days listed below. Due to limited capacity for each session, we encourage you to reserve early for your preferred session. Click here to make a reservation.
